Labor and Negotiations

Labor and Employment law requires extensive experience to handle the many nuances and legal authorities that govern the employee-employer relationship. Our attorneys regularly provide advice and consultation regarding negotiations, grievance handling, increment withholdings, arbitrations, civil service hearings, and tenure charges. Some unique cases required our attorneys to seek petitions to determine the scope of negotiations, unfair practice charges, representation petitions, and clarification of unit petitions. Finally, our attorneys have extensive experience handling civil litigation, tenure charges, seniority issues, non-renewal issues, and discrimination charges.

One of the most intense aspects of labor and employment law is contract negotiations.  Our attorneys regularly negotiate against the largest Union in the State and have provided our clients some of the best results and Collectively Bargained Agreements in the State.  Specifically, our attorneys have handled negotiations with all types of school district and municipal based unions, including teachers, police, administrators, and support staff.  Our attorneys have secured some of the strongest results in contract negotiations for school districts and municipalities and we invite you to speak with one of our attorneys about these results and our representation.
